An outstanding museum-grade Vanadinite specimen showcasing a dense radiating group of lustrous, intensely red hexagonal crystals arranged on a single crystalline plate, giving the piece the striking appearance of a blooming flower petal. The saturated cherry-red hue and the flawless formation of the crystals make this a top-tier aesthetic piece from one of the world's most celebrated vanadinite localities, now considered a historic, largely depleted source.

This exceptional Vanadinite specimen comes from Mibladen, the legendary Moroccan district that redefined the standard for this species in the collecting world since the 1970s. The crystals here are perfectly formed hexagonal prisms, closely packed and radiating outward from a shared base to create an almost floral, petal-like arrangement — a growth pattern that immediately sets this piece apart from more common, scattered vanadinite groupings.

The color is the true highlight of the specimen: a deep, saturated blood-red that catches the light across the many sharp crystal faces, creating a vivid, almost glowing effect. Each crystal displays crisp terminations and the characteristic vitreous luster typical of the finest Mibladen material, contributing to the piece's undeniable eye-appeal and display value.

Mibladen's industrial mining operations ceased in the mid-1970s, and today specimens are recovered only through small-scale, hand-dug artisanal work in the old workings — a labor-intensive process that makes large, well-crystallized plates like this one increasingly difficult to source on today's market. This combination of historic locality, superb crystal formation, and vivid saturated color makes the piece a genuine standout for advanced collectors and museum-level displays alike.
