We ship worldwide using trusted international courier services, ensuring safe handling and reliable delivery of all mineral specimens. Most destinations can be served without issues, although shipping conditions may vary depending on local regulations and import rules. Some countries are fully unrestricted, while others may require additional checks or documentation depending on the material being shipped.
Shipping Methods
We use major international couriers such as UPS, FedEx and DHL, selecting the most suitable service based on destination, parcel type and required delivery speed. Each shipment is handled to ensure a balance between safety, efficiency and reliable customs processing, with full traceability whenever possible.
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on the destination country and the selected shipping method. Orders are generally dispatched within a few days after payment confirmation. Express shipping can ensure delivery within 1–2 days after payment is received and processed, depending on courier availability. Bank transfers may require additional processing time before dispatch.
Packaging & Protection
Each specimen is individually protected using multiple layers of cushioning materials such as cotton, soft paper padding and bubble wrap. Fragile pieces may also include rigid protection such as acrylic display boxes. Packaging is designed to eliminate movement inside the parcel and ensure maximum protection during transport. Breakage is extremely rare, occurring in approximately one out of every 4,000 shipments, typically only in cases of severe courier mishandling.
Tracking Information
Whenever available, tracking details are provided for all shipments, allowing customers to monitor their parcel throughout the entire delivery process until final delivery.
Customs & Import Duties
Customs duties, import taxes and local fees are always the responsibility of the customer and depend on the destination country regulations. These rules vary significantly worldwide. In certain cases, such as Switzerland, we may assist with customs clearance for small parcels to reduce additional costs and simplify the process.
Insurance & Damage Handling
Standard insurance systems in the mineral trade can be complex due to documentation requirements and high valuation costs. For this reason, we personally ensure careful handling of every shipment. In the rare event of damage or transit issues, we always work directly with the customer to find a fair solution, including refund or compensation where appropriate.
Special & Radioactive Specimens
Some mineral specimens, including radioactive materials, can be shipped internationally depending on the destination country. Regulations vary: some countries require permits or documentation, while others allow import without restrictions. We always recommend contacting us in advance for these cases to ensure compliance and safe delivery.
Consolidation Service
We offer a flexible consolidation service that allows customers to store multiple purchases over time, including auction wins or individual orders, and ship them together at a later stage. This can extend over weeks or even months, allowing collectors to build their selection gradually while optimizing shipping costs.
Shipping Options
We offer three main shipping speeds: economy (5–7 working days), standard (3–5 working days), and express (1–2 days after payment confirmation). Express shipping is frequently used as a default for smaller parcels. Customers are encouraged to communicate urgency in advance so we can arrange the most suitable option.
Mineral Shows & Events
We regularly participate in major mineral shows and exhibitions across Italy, Europe and international venues. In many cases, orders can be delivered or collected directly at these events, offering a premium and convenient alternative to standard shipping.
Local Pickup
In selected cases, local pickup or direct handover can be arranged by appointment depending on availability and logistics. This option is available for specific transactions and can be coordinated directly with our team.
