This is a completely natural, untreated Torbernite specimen from the legendary Shinkolobwe Mine in the Haut-Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, one of the most historically significant uranium localities on the planet. The specimen displays a well-developed crystal growth that allows the tabular, square-shaped crystals to be fully appreciated, with an intense, saturated green color and clean, well-formed crystal faces.

The crystals grew in a natural and harmonious arrangement, resulting in a specimen with strong visual impact and a very pleasing overall aesthetic. The size of the crystals is notably large for the species, adding further interest for collectors seeking display-quality material from this classic, now unavailable locality.

Measuring 92 x 59 x 43 mm and weighing 154 g, this piece falls into the Medium Cabinet size range, making it a substantial and eye-catching addition to any mineralogical collection. As a uranium-bearing mineral, it should be handled and stored responsibly, though it is considered a stable specimen when kept under normal, correct collection conditions.

A genuinely unique piece of nature, ideal for collectors of high-level mineral specimens and radioactive minerals, and equally suited as a striking display object for those who appreciate the rare beauty of uranium minerals.
