Historic mineral association of Tetrahedrite with Quartz from the Casapalca Mine, Chicla District, Huarochirí Province, Lima, Peru. Collected in 1970, this specimen represents a classic example of a hydrothermal sulfide–silica paragenesis from one of Peru’s well-known polymetallic mining districts.

The specimen features large, well-developed Tetrahedrite crystals associated with clear Quartz. A natural greenish surface coating is present, typical of secondary alteration processes affecting sulfide minerals over time. The contrast between metallic sulfides and transparent quartz enhances the overall aesthetic and geological interest.

This historic association is highly valued by systematic mineral collectors for its mineralogical significance, provenance, and well-defined crystallization.
