This collector specimen combines two classic species from the celebrated fluorite deposits of Inner Mongolia, China: a group of twinned, cubic Fluorite crystals in a deep, saturated blue, accompanied by contrasting white Calcite. The Fluorite crystals display the geminated cubic habit typical of the region, where two cubes appear to interpenetrate along a shared crystallographic axis, producing complex, faceted outlines rather than simple isolated cubes. The crystal faces are smooth and well-defined, catching light across their flat planes and giving the specimen a strong sense of geometric order.

The white Calcite crystals are distributed around and among the Fluorite, creating a pleasing tonal contrast that draws the eye directly to the blue crystal faces and edges. This pairing of species is characteristic of several notable skarn-type deposits in the Inner Mongolia region, an area of northern China that has, over the past decade or so, become internationally recognized among collectors for producing richly colored, well-formed Fluorite on light-colored matrix.
