This is a truly impressive natural Quartz specimen from Minas Gerais, Brazil, one of the world's most celebrated sources of rutilated quartz. The crystal is remarkably transparent, allowing light to travel deep inside and illuminate a dense network of golden rutile needles that cross the body of the piece in radiating and parallel sprays.

The rutile inclusions are the true protagonists of this specimen: thin, hair-like acicular crystals that appear to float within the glassy quartz, catching the light from every angle and producing the shimmering, almost metallic sparkle that has earned rutilated quartz the nickname "Venus hair stone" among collectors. The contrast between the water-clear quartz and the warm golden tone of the rutile creates a genuinely scenographic effect, further enhanced by the vitreous luster and smooth crystal faces of the host quartz.

At nearly 3 kilograms and with a longest dimension close to 25 centimeters, this is a large, substantial piece, well suited both to a serious mineralogical collection and to display in an exclusive interior setting. Minas Gerais remains an active and historically important quartz-producing region, renowned for yielding some of the finest rutilated quartz specimens on the international market, which adds to the piece's collectible appeal.
