FLUORITE – Spherical Golden-Yellow Crystals on Quartz, Zhejiang, China
A rare and visually striking specimen of golden-yellow Fluorite perched on a lustrous Quartz matrix. The Fluorite forms dense, rounded aggregates that appear almost spherical or botryoidal at first glance, but on closer inspection reveal countless small, sharply crystallized octahedral faces with subtly curved triangular surfaces — an unusual habit tied to a specific and limited find from Zhejiang Province, China. The intense honey-yellow color and glassy, almost wet-looking luster of the crystals create a beautiful contrast against the white-to-translucent Quartz matrix, making this an eye-catching piece for both display and specialized collections.
