This is a fine example of natural hopper quartz (also known as skeletal quartz) from the Nervia Valley in Liguria, Italy — a locality specifically documented in Italian and international mineralogical literature for producing this unusual growth form. The crystal grew completely naturally, with well-developed faces that clearly reveal its characteristic hopper habit.

The specimen stands out for its excellent transparency combined with natural clay inclusions trapped within the quartz during its rapid growth. These internal inclusions create beautiful plays of light and give the piece a scenographic, almost three-dimensional appearance that is highly appreciated by collectors and often used in mineralogical displays.

A genuinely unique piece of nature, well suited both to serious mineralogical collections and as a striking decorative object for refined interiors, thanks to its strong aesthetic appeal.
