This natural Fluorite specimen comes from Aksu County, in the Akesu Prefecture of Xinjiang, China — a locality that has only recently begun producing fluorite on the international mineral market, with material first appearing in significant quantity in the early 2020s. The specimen displays a well-developed cubic crystal habit, the classic isometric form of fluorite, with clean and well-defined crystal faces that catch the light beautifully.

The dominant feature of this piece is its intensely deep purple color, often described by collectors as a rich, saturated "grape" tone, which gives the specimen a bold and elegant visual impact. The crystal surfaces are well developed, allowing the geometry of the cubic growth to be fully appreciated from multiple angles.

Fluorite from this part of Xinjiang has quickly gained a strong following among collectors for its combination of sharp cubic form and vivid coloration, making pieces like this one a desirable addition to any mineralogical collection or display setting.
