This is an outstanding, completely natural Anglesite specimen from the world-famous Broken Hill Mine in New South Wales, Australia, one of the richest silver-lead-zinc deposits ever discovered. The piece shows a well-developed crystal growth that allows the collector to fully appreciate its cristalline forms: the individual crystals present sharp, well-defined edges and bright, reflective surfaces that catch the light beautifully from multiple angles, giving the whole specimen a lively, almost glassy appearance typical of fine anglesite from this locality.

What truly sets this piece apart is the impressive size of its crystals, which lends the specimen a strong three-dimensional presence and a remarkable visual impact rarely seen in smaller examples of the species. Broken Hill has been mined continuously since its discovery in 1883, and while many of the original underground workings that produced classic oxidized-zone specimens like this one have long since closed, the line of lode remains one of the most historically significant mining districts in the world, and material of this quality is becoming increasingly difficult to source on the current market.

A genuinely eye-catching natural sculpture, this specimen is equally suited to a serious systematic mineral collection or as a striking decorative piece in a refined interior setting.
